Hi I am now on day six and I’m feeling pretty pleased with my self I went to an open day and strawberries and cream and/ or fruit scone double cream and jam were all around me I had a black tea how great do I feel that I declined. I have 6 stone to shift and I’m really looking forward to my first weigh in on Sunday will keep you posted first week nearly done!!!!

  2. I am on day six of the s&s diet yes the first few days have been a bit difficult, but I am getting there. I have even managed to cook 2 dozen cupcakes today and not been tempted to even try one.
    I also find the majority of the food is very tasty, so will keep going and let’s see what the scales say on Tuesday!!!

  3. Food food food – it can be addictive to some, and to me it was! I’ve spent most of my life battling food demons, that was until I can across Slim n Save.

    I would say it has literally saved my life, going from having high blood pressure (which runs in my family – my father died recently through this and it’s complications).   4. A diet that really works with so many options you won’t feel deprived, As unbelievable as it seems you won’t be hungry. I have a serious sweet tooth but with cookies and cream shakes and chocolate wafer bars as just 2 of the yummy choices I have can not only take the edge off but completely satisfy the dreading longing for something nice. With support available from the professionals and the wonderful group members, there is a constant font of knowledge and the occasional kick up the arse if needed.   7. I used slim and save after finding another alternative products very hard to stick to since there wasn’t much variety and it really affected my social life!
    Slim and save makes it easy to do a vlcd. You eat normal food, an drink normal things and don’t feel like your restricted on what you can eat!
    I love he normality this diet brings with the unbelievable results. My mum has now started the diet after me raving about it. All you have to do is have the commitment and drive and the rest is easy 🙂

  8. My Sister started Slim and Save because she was doing another diet and it was too costly, so she moved to slim and save because it was affordable. She was so pleased with the products that she let me try a couple and they were so yummy! I thought cheaper diet, so the products wouldnt be as good so I was shocked to find they were BETTER! For me it was no question, save money and get better products! I started Slim and Save but I was starting to get fed up of living on bars and shakes, so discovering they had meals too was great.

  9. Where do I start. Since the age of 15 when i stopped professional ballet I piled on the pounds. Now here I am on the most tastiest diet getting advice from the most amazing trained diet professionals and also all of the other fab ladies on the diet we all help and support each other.   10. Inside me is a thin girl, desperately trying to get out… I usually shut her up with chocolate or cupcakes… Or grilled chilli halloumi on tiger bread… Ummm… I totally digress! Slim n Save is so easy to follow, the food is delish and the forums and Facebook page are helpful and full of other people who feel exactly the same. A VLCD diet may seem like an extreme option, but when you are constantly tempted on other diets – oh I’ll have a bit extra it will be fine – well KFC is chicken, that counts as protein I’ll just pick the breading off – with SnS there is no need to think about food.   12. I started slim and save after last September at 23 St and have since lost 9 stone with them. I had tried so many diets but now to me slim n save isn’t a diet its a lifestyle. I’m back in control of my eating habbits has there is so much to choose from from shakes to soups to meals to snacks. Some days I don’t even feel like i’m on VLCD. And the staff are always very helpful. My whole life has changed for the better because I’m in control of it. I got out of the body that I didn’t belong in….

  13. The weight loss answer to fast food. As long as I have the 4 packs per day, I do not need to worry about calories or carbs. At work I can even cover this up if I do not want anyone to know what I am doing as a soup is a cup of soup, a bar is an own label choccy bar from a supermarket and a shake is a protein shake as far as anyone else may know.

    Never get bored as there is such a variety to choose from. More ‘me’ time too as I can spend more minutes in the bathroom in the morning as I do not have to fix a packed lunch for work either. Oh and I am saving on the washing up too in the evening as I just need a bowl and kettle for my evening pack.

    Oh and did I mention that I am saving £’s and losing lb’s simultaneously?
    It is definately a Win Win situation ( or Win Lose -lol.)

    Eating certain type’s of food became a habit for me and after piling on the pounds both before and after having my Daughter, I knew things had to change so I would be around to enjoy and keep up with her as she grew!

    Slim & Save wasn’t my first attempt at dieting and ive tried all the conventional diets you can think of but quickly realised im an all or nothing girl! Cant have 1 biscuit got to have the pack! My body also didnt know what full was – just stuffed!

    By removing all temption, I was given the time to learn things about my body and why I wanted certain food’s. I was able to focus completely on losing weight and losing it quickly. I can now make the right choices!

    Best thing about following this plan is the results you see on the scales. We all start diets on a high but we soon lose motivation when the scales stop moving and this triggers the wrong foods. Ive not yet lost my motivation or cheated as im consistently losing weight week by week.

  15. Have been on the diet for 20 weeks and I am 1lb short of losing 4 stone. This is a wonderful diet that as long as you follow correctly will give you results. I have dropped many dress sizes and feel much happier within myself so I also feel it has had an impact on me emotionally as well as physically. A recent visit to my GP revealed that my blood pressure is good and a cholesterol test came back at 3.7 which had us both smiling and she says is excellent !

  16. This diet really does work. It takes a bit of will power to get through the first week and into ketosis but after that the results are amazing. I love the fact that while in ketosis you dont feel hungry but have loads of energy. This isn’t just a crash diet. This diet really enables you to focus on portion control and learning to recognise when you are physically hungry and not just emotionally hungry.   17. Having started Slim n Save and now been on for six weeks and feeling the benefits emensley.. You need to be in the right frame of mind to start, I tried a few times and gave in, it is severe but if you want to do it you will… Getting over the first 3-4 days is hard but well worth the early nights, walks and baths to take my mind off food… Well in the zone now, packs are delicious finding what your favourites are is good, although they are all very good, price is very very reasonable at most £1.50 a meal, really, yes really… The support on the website, Facebook and phone is second to none with questions and queries answered very quickly… So what you waiting for, come on get started..   18. Since the age of 8, I’ve always struggled with my weight. Mum said it was just ‘puppy fat’ & that it would go once puberty started!! Well it didn’t!!

    When I first met my husband I was a healthy (still not 100% happy) size 10-12 but only had 1 pair of DKNY jeans which were a 10!!!!!! So really I was a 12!!

    I tried many diets around the time of our wedding including LL, HerbaLife & WW. None of which were successful. So I kinda gave up & gained weight for the wedding!!! Every brides nightmare!! The following year I think I was at my biggest – not sure on my weight as I was too scared to get on the scales. Then I had my 2 beautiful babies. I started my weight loss journey the end of January 2014, i had various health problems which were getting worse because of my weight , it had got to the stage where i had to do something.I chose to do a vlcd because i had a couple of friends on Facebook who had done them and lost lots of weight so i knew they worked but i choose slim and save because of the variety of meals, bars and shakes that were available ,they taste great too, there was also the option to have one meal with 100g of protein and 200g of veg if you wanted.The facebook page for slim and save has given me lots of support, more so than a slimming group with meetings once a week, with facebook you can talk about the diet 24/7 and find people facing the same things, the forums are also great for advice and joining groups to lose a stone over a months period.so far iv lost 69 pounds , which is more than i have ever lost on any diet before my health has improved dramatically and i feel great for the first time in years.

  22. I started at Easter , and needed to lose 16llbs , it is the easiest diet I have ever done! Simply love it, I’m at goal now and dip in and out of the diet (like a 5:2 diet) to keep on track.   23. I can honestly say this is not a diet. I feel in control and yes you have food packs but there so much like real food. Knowing this makes you feel comfortable in making the right choices when your at goal. And on this I feel the goal part of
    The diet is achievable. Never felt that before. I’m currently 30 pounds down and counting and there has been slip ups on the way believe me, but the suppor you get from staff, forum and other slim and savers gets you right back on track! U don’t have to wait a week to be told off! Haha xxxx

  24. I started on this diet last year I lost 5.3st in 4 months.
    I needed something strict I’d lost weight on a previous diet the same amount but it’d taken me well over a year to lose the same amount.

    I suffer with mental health problems and a lot related to my size and the way I looked but after the first week and losing every week I felt fantastic my mood started to lift the compliments and comments I received constantly were fantastic and even from strangers I felt fitter had more energy I just felt happier looking at myself in the mirror and seeing such a difference.

  25. Only 2 weeks in but what a massive difference already i no longer have the bloated feelings or the wind and sluggish moods. I’m sleeping better and have so much more energy in space of 2 weeks i can feel a huge improvement to my health I’m not using.my asthma inhaler as much either and I’m down 9 lbs in 1 week!!   26. This is the easiest and best diet I have ever done … It lets you concentrate on getting yourself in tune with your body without distractions …. I have lost 23lbs in 8 weeks and not once have I felt depraved or craved foods . I would recommend Slim and Save to anyone looking to lose weight.   27. Never believed I would be able to stick to a VLCD but slim and save really is amazing so easy to stick too with a great selection of meals including pastas chocolate bars and eggs too.   29. I am currently 32 years of age and I have been on some sort of diet since the age of 19. I have tried every diet that you could possibly imagine including some of the more “unsavoury ones” such as the maple syrup and cabbage diet. They worked for a while and I did lose a bit but put the weight back on straight away plus more. Then I was introduced to slim and save by a colleague.

  30. If you want to lose weight, this is definitely the diet to do. There are so many choices its not even like being on a diet. You can have porridge for breakfast, soup for lunch, chilli for dinner and then have either a shake made into a mousse for dessert or one of the many chocolate bars they do.   34. I am emotional eater, happy, sad, it doesn’t matter which, I just eat! I have tried to eat healthy before, I start out with good intentions,but then I start adding a bit more of this or that, then I find I am not eating healthy at all.We would have take away about 3-4 nights a week, £60-80! It started to get really bad, I don’t cope well with stress, I have agoraphobia, so I just sit at home feeling sorry for myself.   36. After struggling for many years with my weight and wishing and wanting a baby so desperately I decided to embark in my VLCD journey. I have tried many of the VLCD ‘ S out there but Slim & Save THE BEST one out there.   37. I have tried loads of diets before but this diet really has to be the best one I have been on I don’t feel hungry I don’t feel deprived of food. I can have an evening meal or if im socialising I can still eat out. I look forward weighing in each week to see how much ive lost. So far 3 weeks on S & S and Ive lost an amazing one and a half stone. The shakes bars and meals taste great im one happy lady. Delivery service excellent and all the team are great all questions answered straight away and good tips on the s&save website with lots recipes for the food packs.

As since having my second baby I never had time to prepare proper meals for myself, so I would just pick on rubbish through the day until the kids were in bed when I would just shove something in the oven and as by then I didnt have energy to stand in the kitchen preparing and cooking proper healthy meals, so I would sit down and eat my high calorie meal around 10pm.

    Since starting slim and save I have found it so easy and I have alot more energy now throughout the day even tho.ive only been on it a few days, but thats because the most I have to do is put the kettle on and shove it in the microwave for a few minutes which takes no time atall so I am actually fitting meals in through the day and surprisingly feel so full up and ive not even had any chocoate or crisp cravings (this time last week I was addicted to them), ive not even had the s&s bars because I have just not fancied something sweet atall, the shakes are sweet and tasty enough.

    The only regret i have is that i didnt start this after my first baby!

  40. This is the best diet I have done. I have done other diets very similar before and nothing compares, the shakes refreshing and tasty, the meals are very authentic, and the bars are very tasty too. The support you get from the staff is even better, and the customer service at the call centre is 2nd to none. All other diets feel like diets, but on this most of thier products feel like a treat. I am losing nice and steadily on this diet and would not use any other. Give it a try, its much cheaper then every day food, and other food replacement diets. You really do slim and save

  41. I totally agree whole heartedly with this article. I am a self confessed chocoholic. I can’t remember a day where I have never had chocolate.

    Due to an unpleasant experience, I turned to food as a comfort to be happy. 10 years later and numerous unsuccessful attempts at other diets I was just over 25 stone. I tried other diets but could never get passed week 2. I joined the Slim and Save group sometime last year and read lots of success stories before taking the plunge in January 2014.
