Christmas in ketosis

Christmas is almost upon us and we have been working hard trying to come up with suitable meal ideas for those who don’t want to come out of Ketosis this Christmas but also don’t want to be left out when it comes to the Christmas dinner! Well, we believe we have came up with the solution!! We have updated our meal planner database with some food items which will enable you to plan a more festive day without coming out of ketosis. We have also provided an example menu to give you some ideas as to what you can choose.

This example shows a full day of semi-normal Christmas food and only 69g of Carbohydrates! You will stay in ketosis and therefore not cause any problems with your weight loss results. We know the calories are higher than normal at 1150 calories on the example shown, but this will not be a problem to you for a one off.

The truth is, if you are not organised and motivated and you then choose to have a complete day off you could be looking at consuming around 4,000 calories and without a doubt coming out of ketosis very easily.

  2. The Christmas Day menu, looks amazing,just what we can achieve, even thou I am on lifestyle, I think that’s a lot of food, but it is nice that you’ve worked out what we can eat to be strong and self willed

I’ve just started thinking about how I’m going to tackle the holiday period (on diet or off and for how many days) and this is making me think that I could actually stay on diet over the entire period. It helps that Christmas meal is not held at our house. 🙂
