Hi everyone, I’ve maintained now for 3 years after losing 71lbs in 20 wks. I feel wonderful and my confidence is where I want it to be ie: to be happy and to always look good in my clothes, after going from a size 22 to a size 12. It feels so fantastic to just grab something out of my wardrobe and it fits perfectly, that really elates me and makes staying slim so important to me now, thanks to S&S.
I still do 5:2 or 4:3 and fluctuate in my 7lbs box I gave myself, and if I go over that…..that’s where the 4:3 comes in, so useful and deffo works for me. I still use the S&S packs, which is about 2 or 3 days per week, then eating healthy on the other days!
Maintaining is about a lifestyle change for life and not going back to your old eating habits…..a no no for me for sure. Also, planning your meals daily so you know where you are and incorporating exercise daily too. I still do Zumba, yoga & palates. I also still drink plenty of water throughout the day… which is essential to keep me hydrated.
Don’t get me wrong I still have the odd treat, but save that for weekends, then do 4:3 the next day. I always log everything I eat on MFP too, it’s just become a way of life for me now.
I recently went to Jamaica to visit my Mum, she was so happy to see me slim, as the last time I saw her I was a lot bigger. (I’ve attached a photo of me in Jamaica).
So thanks again S&S for all your help and support guys, I could not have done this without you. Being a member of the admin team in the FB groups and also doing “Vonnie’s monthly challenges” for all this time has also helped me tremendously to stay focused.
So my advice is if you stick to the plan 100% then you’ll get the results you want. It’s only a short term plan for a lifetime gain of being happy in your own skin. So if your unhappy with your current weight give Slim & Save a try…..what have you got to lose??? It’s so worth it!!
