Rebecca Ephgrave Weight Loss Success Story

I knew 2017 was going to be the year I changed my life. Getting on the scales on my 34th Birthday on the 3rd Jan I cried when they read 28.8 stones, four stones more than I thought I was. It seemed so daunting; I knew I had to lose 15 stones to get where I wanted to be. I had done other VLCD’s before and had tried Slim & Save about four years ago and lost three stones on it. I knew I could do it, and I was determined, so I logged on and ordered one months worth of food.

When the packs arrived, I got a black bag and threw out everything in my fridge and cupboards, if it’s not there I cant eat it. The first few days were hard but then my best friend Anna called, she stunned me when she asked me to be her maid of honour at her August wedding. I was speechless. When I eventually spoke, I told her it was exactly the motivation I needed to keep me on track. No way was I going to be a size 34 (my start dress size) at her wedding.

Before I knew it the time was flying by, the pounds and stones fell off. I had to put off buying a dress until the last minute because I was losing a dress size each month! Six weeks before the wedding I found a gorgeous green Rockabilly dress… but it was a size 20… No way will it fit I thought… I tried it, and it was a little snug, but six weeks later I popped the dress on, zipped it up, and it was the perfect fit, and I felt like a million dollars. Still a plus-size girl, but I didn’t care one bit, I felt terrific! In eight months I had lost almost ten stones and gone from a size 34 to a 20!

My life has changed in so many ways since then, I have even met an amazing guy, and we’ve been dating for nearly five months now. Dating has thrown a bit of a spanner in the works, but I have been maintaining my loss and losing a little more here and there. I still have five stones that I would like to lose but know it will come off, if I can do 10 then I can do 5!
