I decided to do S&S because I was so fed up of how I looked and felt.
I’ve yo yo dieted since having my children. Being pregnant was a good excuse to eat what I wanted for the first time, then I just continued to graze. As the years went by and my weight increased my eldest being 18 now, also having twins who are now 16 so I decided it was time for me to stop doing that!
I have done a vlcd before so I knew what the plan entailed and decided to do Simplicity. My 1st week weigh-in in January 2013 I lost a whopping 11lbs, to say I was over the moon was an understatement!!!! I was on a roll and stuck to plan religiously with no blips for a total of 20 weeks. I lost a total of 71lbs by doing simplicity during the week then lifestyle at weekends. This suited me fine, as if I wanted to eat out I could still make the plan work for me simply by making the right choices.
After doing the refeed which is vital to introduce food slowly, I’ve now maintained for 21 months by keeping in my 7lb box I gave myself. By doing 5:2 or 4:3 and still using S&S packs on my fast days has really helped me with that, and by doing plenty of exercise too which I enjoy doing anyway, my fave been Zumba!
